Am I weird?

Just a second ago, I was reading Just One Year by Gayle Forman, and I found a typo. "Addendums" is not the plural of addendum, but rather addenda is.  I usually don't care when I find typos like when a word is missing because people are human and could look over that, but I just felt so smart just now! One must look out for the D- diction! Yes, I just got joy out of a typo. Look what my English teacher has done to me! I'm obviously bizarre, but what do you do when you find a typo in a published work? Do you correct it?
