FURY Excerpt (YOU WON'T FIND IT ANYWHERE ELSE!):
I took a deep breath as my fingers found their purchase and pulled out my keys. The key I needed somehow hit home and the lid sprang open, the knives staring at me, daring me. I watched them, waited for them to tell me what to do, but nothing came. They laid still, gleaming in the moonlight waiting for me too, it seemed. I sat in the passenger side seat, one boot still on the gravel, and made the first move. Raising a trembling hand toward the temptation, my fingers felt the cool length of each blade.
The rage still burned in my veins and I felt myself sobering, hesitating. No, I kept hearing. Pick them up, a voice said, so I did. Their weight felt good in my hands, comfortable. I breathed three breaths before gripping their handles and twirling them quickly in my palms. Even drunk, I could slaughter anything that moved. I was made to hunt. And hunt you shall, the voice urged.
I nodded and stood, shutting the passenger side door, tucking the blades into the back of my jeans, and camouflaging them with my shirt. My boots echoed with each step back toward the bar, heavy and dark like the night that surrounded me, like the thoughts in my head.
The adrenaline seared through my body, heightening every nerve, intensifying every sense. My heart pounded like a bass drum in my chest, pressing painfully against my ribs. My skin burned with anticipation.
I reached for the door handle.
“Where do you think you’re going?” a voice whispered, startling me.
I stopped, one hand on the handle. “Finley, go home,” I ordered her.
She stood from her leaning position against the outside wall of the bar, out of the shadows, and walked toward me. Her eyes seared through me. She came to me, stood closely, the heat from her body enveloping me.
“No, I don’t think I will,” she told me, looking up into my eyes. “At least not alone.”
She stood tenaciously, fearlessly. I noted how much taller she was than Cricket and it was a little bit intimidating to me, like what she said was going to happen whether or not I liked it. I respected her and I didn’t know why. I stared at her hard, but she didn’t budge. No, instead, she strengthened her own resolve, her jaw tightening with the decision and glared back even harder. She said and did things with such righteous authority, I felt powerless to her. I’d never felt that way before about a woman. It wasn’t pushy or irrational, it was simply as it was going to be.
My eyes and face relaxed the moment I acquiesced. “Fine.”
Her body followed suit and she nodded once, grabbing my arm and leading me toward my truck. Her hand reached into my jeans pocket, sending an inexplicable electrical charge through me, which I promptly chose to ignore, and yanked out my keys.
“Get in,” she ordered and I obeyed.
She threw herself into the driver’s side and slammed the door shut, sticking the keys in the ignition and turning only once. The engine started, daring not to further goad her. The stereo kicked on, belting something indicative of the moment we were leaving behind us, full of bass and a sharpness so edgy it echoed through my chest and head.
She shoved the truck in reverse, throwing her arm over the back of the bench, and her stare found mine. It was a solid look, packed full with a storm of unspoken words. Without breaking her gaze, she shifted into drive. She held there for a moment, driving her disappointment in me deep down into my soul before finally looking ahead to the end of the parking lot. I know I’m toxic, Finley, I thought, but that didn’t stop my mouth from retching awful thoughts.
“You have no reason to be pissed at me,” I told her, practically begging her to speak.
She didn’t say a word as she pulled out onto the road with more punch than the Finley I knew normally would have, turning toward the interstate. I had no clue where she was taking us, but I wasn’t about to ask.
Just make her turn around, I thought. Tell her you won’t do anything.
I opened my mouth to speak but caught a glimpse of her hair whipping about her determined face from the open windows and forgot what I was going to say. I turned my gaze toward the windshield. The light from the headlights exposing just enough of the road to make me nervous at the speed we were traveling. One hand found the dash to steady myself.
“What’s wrong, Ethan?” she asked.
“Huh?” I asked, whipping my head her direction.
“Too fast for you?”
“No.”
“Liar,” she said, calling me out.
I wiped my palms down the thighs of my jeans. “Slow down,” I said, swallowing.
“Oh, now you want to play it safe?” Her eyes narrowed. “You’re so selfish, you know that?” she asked. I was taken aback. She’d never talked to me like that.
She leisurely drove across lanes as if traveling more than a hundred miles per hour was completely normal.
“What?” I demanded, feeling alert. The adrenaline had sobered me quickly.
“You’re selfish. And stupid. Let’s not forget stupid.”
My blood boiled. “Whatever, Finley.”
“Whatever, Finley,” she mocked. “Don’t you know I’m suffering? That I’m the only person in the world who suffers? Can’t you see that I’m determined to be foolish, Finley?”
“What do you know of suffering?” I asked, incensed.
Wide eyes met mine and her jaw clenched as she pulled over, slamming us to a stop. Her hair flew forward from the force before settling onto her chest and shoulders.
“I know more about suffering than you could ever possibly imagine. You don’t know shit! So you got your heart broken. So what! There are worse things, you know. There are things out there that would curl your toes to know about, Ethan.”
I was Free banner   FURY Synopsis: Revenge is an euphoric thing. Trust me on this. Nothing compares to the release you get when you ruin someone’s life. When they’ve stolen important things. Things that didn’t belong to them. Things I revel in making them pay for. What? Have I offended you? I’m not here to appeal to your delicate senses. I have no intention of placating your wishes or living within your personal belief system nor do I care if you hate me. And you will hate me. Because I’m a brutal, savage, cold-blooded murderer and I’m here for my revenge. I’m Ethan Moonsong...And this is the story about how I went from the world’s most sacrificing man to the most feared and why I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

Your presence is requested for another installment in the tale of Julia and Clay, two red-hot lovers. Come inside their world of passion and suspense once more for a deliciously erotic and heart-poundingly dangerous story of pearls, handcuffs, thieves, mobsters, poker and pleasure in the city of sin…

Happy endings don’t come easily. They’re hard-won and Clay Nichols is going to have to keep earning his…

Now living together in New York with her debt safely paid off, sexy bartender Julia Bell and hot-as-hell entertainment lawyer Clay thought their future was clear sailing.

But life doesn’t work that way and the fiery lovers run into a slew of new challenges as Clay tries to put a ring on it. Trouble looms in every corner–trouble from clients, trouble with timing, and, most of all, trouble from her past returns on their trip to Vegas. A dangerous man who knows much more about Julia than he should surfaces in Sin City where they’re supposed to be enjoying a weekend getaway. Following her in the casino, watching her every move at the pool, targeting her as she plays poker.

Too bad Clay is called away repeatedly, leaving Julia alone in a sprawling hotel full of dark corners, back rooms, and unsavory characters. Can Clay save her from danger one more time, and then finally get down on one knee? Or will he be too late for the woman he adores?
Read on in ONE MORE NIGHT, a new novel in the New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Seductive Nights series packed with more sex, more dirty talk and more danger. And per your request, the recipe for Julia’s award-winning cocktail, the Purple Snow Globe, has finally been revealed in this ebook!

EXCERPT:

She licked him back up to his head, then rubbed him against her lips, because she knew that drove him wild. Seeing his cock being caressed and loved by her mouth was his undoing. His eyes darkened, and he shut them briefly, his head falling back against the leather seat as he speared her hair with his strong fingers. “Get those lips back where they belong. All the way around me.”
“It’s going to be the two-minute treatment then,” she said, blowing a stream of air against him, and he opened his eyes to hitch in a breath. “Say you want it fast. Admit I can make you come in two minutes,” she said, rubbing his throbbing erection across her lips once more to show him she knew the path to his pleasure.
“Do it,” he growled.
That was all she needed to reacquaint his cock with the back of her throat, wrapping her lips tight around the base, and sucking hard. She cupped his balls, rolling them against her fingers, and that drew out a long, deep groan. She smiled to herself at his reactions, loving that she could do this to him. She continued on her quest, sucking hard, licking teasingly, and delighting in every second of it as his groans grew louder and his fingers gripped her tighter. She finished him off quickly, savoring the taste of him in her mouth and the sound of his grunts in her ears.
When she returned to her seat as he zipped his jeans, she nearly shot out of the moonroof as the signs for Teterboro Airport loomed closer.
“This is definitely not Newark,” she said, her voice practically a shout. “Where are you taking me?”
“Welcome to the executive airport, gorgeous. We’ll be flying in a private jet to Vegas.”
Friday, 8:58 a.m., New York
“Ladies first,” Clay said, gesturing to the steps that unfolded from the gleaming silver Cessna that looked like a bullet. She squeezed his arm, then walked up the steps. No, that was wrong, he corrected himself. She strutted, wiggling her sexy ass for him, happily heading into the jet.
Keeping her busy on the ride over had been the best distraction—in and of itself—and because it preserved the sheer surprise that he’d wanted to elicit from his woman. The jet was one part of the weekend he’d mapped out for Julia in Vegas. Every detail was planned to a T; every gift arranged in advance. He wanted to shower her with luxuries, capping them all off tomorrow with the one he was most eager to give her—a three-carat emerald-cut diamond ring as he asked her to be Mrs. Clay Nichols forever and ever. The ring was safely in Sin City already; he’d had it shipped from Tiffany’s, and sourced from a diamond mine in Canada, one of many that operated by socially responsible guidelines in the diamond business. His brother, Brent, had the ring under lock and key at his place in Vegas. Clay had contemplated having the ring shipped to the home he and Julia shared in the West Village, but when she’d playfully confessed one evening last month while lounging on their balcony, drinking scotch and looking at the stars, that she’d been the kid who peeked at her Christmas presents early, he knew it was safest to keep the ring far away from her prying eyes.
“McKenna almost ratted me out one year. She found me re-taping a Christmas package early one morning when I was ten, I think. My face turned bright red, but then I told her our cat was playing with an ornament, and had knocked a few presents around, so the tape must have come off.”
He’d laughed at her cover-up. “And she believed that far-fetched, multi-layered fib?”
Julia shook her head, a self-deprecating grin curving her lips. “Nope. So I tried another tactic. I gave her my most prized possession in exchange for her silence—my scrapbook of all these fabulous Jordan Catalano snapshots from My So-Called Life,” she’d said, and he’d smiled at the mention of the TV show she and her sister had been huge fans of when they were growing up. That was something else he and Julia had in common; not that show, but an affection for movies and TV as entertainment and as touch-points for special moments in life.
“You are deviously clever, and I also want to thank you for the advance warning that I should never leave any Christmas gifts for you under the tree until Christmas morning when Santa arrives.”
She’d pretended to pout. “No fair.”
“So fair,” he’d countered, as his mind whirred through the best options for keeping a ring far, far away from those exploring eyes and fingers. When he’d told her at her bar the other night that he’d planned to take her to Vegas for the weekend, she’d blatantly stated that she hoped he might get down on one knee, so he certainly wasn’t trying to catch her off-guard with his proposal. They were open with each other about their desire to be married someday soon. But the details? The where, when, and how of it? That’s what he could have fun with, moving puzzle pieces around, keeping her on her toes and hopefully finding a way to surprise the woman he loved, adored and cherished.

EXCERPT: “You sure you’re not sneaking off to Los Angeles to get me a ring?” He laughed once more. She’d been trying to get it out of him since the night he told her he’d wanted to take her to Vegas for the weekend. Even with her business meeting, she was hunting for clues of a proposal. Only his brother knew he planned to ask her to marry him this weekend. “I’m not going to Los Angeles to get a ring, but even if I were I would never tell you,” he said. “You do realize that gives absolutely nothing away?” He nodded, tapping her forehead lightly, then running his finger down to her nose. “I know,” he said, then nibbled on the end of her nose. “Well, enough about rings. What’s in that box there you’re hiding by your leg?” “You saw it?” “My gift-spotting skills know no bounds.” He handed her the turquoise-wrapped box with a white bow on it. She eyed the bow. “In case you want to tie me up on the plane, looks like we already have something to use.” His dick twitched against the denim of his jeans. She was always on the same wavelength as he was. “I may need to tie up your hands as a reminder to bring your poker face to the meeting today.” She gave him a sharp-eyed stare. “Do not ever doubt my poker face. It is masterful,” she said, as she tugged one end of the ribbon, letting the white satiny bow fall across the shiny wrapping paper. Ripping off the paper, she popped open the top of the box, and there it was. That glow in her eyes. The absolute joy in receiving gifts. She was a delight to give presents to because she never faked her appreciation. Reaching inside the box, she wrapped her fingers around the necklace then gently lifted the long strand of pearls. “Oh my God, they’re stunning. They’re so fucking gorgeous.” She draped the pearls over her hand, the long strands like waterfalls of smooth, rounded beads. She gazed at them like they were precious, a fitting response, since they were. “They’re real,” she said, with wonder in her voice as she looked up at him. He nodded. “I would never give you something fake.” “I’ve never had pearls before. I’ve never thought of myself as a pearl person.” “Then let me show you how I want you to wear them, so you can see how absolutely fucking sexy a pearl person can be,” he said, standing up and making his way to his suitcase. He opened one of the zipper compartments where he’d tucked a dress for her, and brought it over. “Another gift. Put this on.” “Now?” He nodded. “Yes. Model it for me.” “As you wish,” she said, standing up and glancing once at the cockpit. “What about the pilot?” “I told him we’d be making full use of the plane and he said he’d have his eyes on the sky the whole time.” “Then keep your eyes on me,” she said, looping the strand around her neck, then stripping off her skirt, letting it pool at her feet, her gaze locked on him the whole time. He watched her, growing harder with each layer she removed—now her shirt, then her lacy bra. He reclined the spacious leather seat, taking in the show, savoring every second of her undressing. Chanel fell in love with London and planned to stay there forever, until fate intervened on a Caribbean cruise, and an American fighter pilot with smooth dance moves swept her off her feet. Now, a happily ever after later, Chanel is living her next adventure in South Korea.
Law school made Chanel realize she’d rather spend her days writing sexy stories than in a courtroom, and she hasn’t looked back since. An avid reader and hopeless romantic, she’s happiest curled up with a book. She has a weakness for handbags, her three pups, and her fighter pilot husband. Chanel writes New Adult contemporary romances and thrillers.

Blog Tour: Goodness of Fit by Missy Marciassa

Zoe Tawn is about to finish her bachelor’s degree and start a PhD program in quantitative psychology. Yet her friends don’t think she’s quite ready to graduate: she still hasn’t played her v-card. Zoe’s friends don’t know her v-card was played years ago; she doesn’t talk about that crap. She does agree that dating would make her a more well-rounded individual, however, so she tries, and realizes the dating game isn’t for her: she’s a geek, not a flirt. Zoe decides to utilize her strengths with the mantra “Smart is the new sexy” and develops a predictive model for companionship to replace those outdated compatibility questionnaires. Her model goes viral in no time, so her friends secretly enter her profile into it. When a match comes back, it shocks them all: it’s Wesley Williams, the twenty-something CEO billionaire of Quantitative Solutions, where Zoe is doing an internship. Zoe insists the error in her model must be unacceptably high until she gets an email requesting she stop by Mr. Williams’ office at her earliest convenience…

EXCERPT:

Lena gave my hand a squeeze. “High school’s ancient history,” she said. The determined look on her face
told me she wasn’t going to back down. “You haven’t dated anyone in college.”
I nodded. I’d been busy, dammit. I had a full scholarship that was contingent on keeping at least a 3.7
GPA, and then I got the internship at Quantitative Solutions, which was not only good for my vita (the
academic version of a resume, which had to be submitted with grad school applications), but it paid
well, too. My mother had raised me by myself; she deserved a break, so I couldn’t afford to slip either at
school or at work.
“So you’re re-virginized,” Lena declared.
Both Talen and I blinked at that.
“Doesn’t that involve a surgical procedure?” I asked.
“Nope.” Lena shook her head so vigorously, her ponytail swung about. “The hymen is a fairly elastic
piece of skin, as is the vagina. Even if you’ve had sex before, if you don’t have it for a while, well, things
can tighten up again.”
Talen’s brow was wrinkled. “What the hell are you guys looking up in the library?” Lena was an
information science major: it was an outgrowth of library studies to focus on organizing all kinds of data,
not just books, and to organize it electronically. She took courses in web and graphic design, statistics,
organizational systems, even things like psychology to understand how people interacted with, stored,
and retrieved data.
Lena gave her a teasing grin. “Much more interesting stuff than the economy.” Talen majored in
economics with a minor in business. She rolled her eyes at Lena’s comment. “You know how I feel about
this,” Lena went on, although she didn’t need to. I’d heard this many times over the last few years. “Just because we’re smart doesn’t mean we have to be non-sexual beings. We don’t have to limit ourselves
because of some dumb stereotype about smart girls- women.”
“Smart is the new sexy.” Talen and I chimed in when Lena said this; we’d heard her declaration many
times. Lena nodded; her beam showed her pleasure that we remembered her “teachings.”
“We know you’re smart.” Lena gave me a teasing nudge. “Next semester, we’re bringing the sexy side
out.”

AUTHOR BIO:

Missy Marciassa loved getting lost in novels from the time she could read, so it’s no surprise she wanted to write. Her very first “novels” were re-writing the books she read to get the endings she wanted in second grade. Missy continued to read and write through grade school and high school.

After becoming rather disillusioned with fiction after writing literary criticism as an English major in college, however, Missy focused on her enjoyment of learning about people and studied psychology. Reading fiction fell to the wayside with all the reading and writing required for college and graduate school, but once Missy became a doctoral candidate, she rediscovered her love of fiction. Then she started getting the urge to write, an urge that wouldn’t go away (she refuses to diagnose it as a compulsion). Covert Assignment is the end result of that urge.

FWTF Ben

EXCERPT: Ben I love the angry ones. Of course, anyone who knows me would argue that I love any and all women, and I can’t exactly disagree. But I love the angry ones the most. They’re a challenge to be conquered, the reason for their fury usually fitting neatly into three buckets: insecure, scorned, hormonal. And this chick gazing up at me with fire in her caramel eyes? I’m betting on bucket number two. “My, what an awfully bright red shirt you have on,” she pushes out between gritted teeth, as if she’s trying to be polite but can’t hide her disdain. I didn’t know what I was walking into when the punk-rock chick with the crazy-ass muscular body waved us over, but her friend with the purple hair and her back to me had me intrigued. Now that I’m getting a good look at her face, I know who I’m spending my last night with in Cancún. She’s not what some would call traditionally “pretty.” Her eyes are slightly too big and far apart, her nose is slightly too long and slender, and her lips—though nice and wide—are on the thin side. Yet something about all of that put together makes her sexy as hell. Maybe it’s the little nose ring. Or maybe it’s the way her decent-sized tits are pressing up against me, her low V-neck tank top—a casual shirt, telling me she’s not trying to pick anyone up—giving me a fine view of her cleavage. Whatever it is, my dick is certainly pleased. “You like it?” I ask. An irritated glare flickers to the material. “No.” I can’t help but chuckle at her candor. “Will you at least give me a head start before you gore me?” Those thin lip curls into a condescending smirk. “Bulls don’t see color. That’s a myth.” The only thing I love more than an angry girl is a smart, angry girl. This is going to be fun. “Well, how about I solve the problem for you.” I take a step back from her and swiftly yank my shirt off, exposing six days of suntanned skin and an upper body that I know looks damn appealing because I work my ass off to keep it that way. The random catcalls from the tables around confirm it. And then I simply stand there and grin like the cocky ass that I am as Angry Girl can’t keep her eyes from scanning the muscles I’ve honed since my college football days, her lips parting ever so subtly. I see the shift in her, the moment where she realizes that, though she’d prefer to castrate the entire male species right now, she can’t ignore her attraction to me. At least, that’s what I want to see.   FWTF Reese

Release Day: Royally Lost by Angie Stanton

Summary: Dragged on a family trip to Europe’s ancient cities, Becca wants nothing more than to go home. Trapped with her emotionally distant father, over-eager stepmother, and a brother who only wants to hook up with European hotties, Becca is miserable. That is until she meets Nikolai, a guy as mysterious as he is handsome. And she unknowingly finds herself with a runaway prince. Nikolai has everything a guy could ask for-he's crown prince, heir to the throne, and girls adore him. But the one thing he doesn't have...is freedom. Staging a coup, he flees his kingdom and goes undercover on his own European tour. When Nikolai and Becca meet, it’s their differences that draw them together. Sparks fly as they share a whirlwind of adventures, all the while dodging his royal guard. But Becca's family vacation ends in a matter of days. Will Nikolai and Becca be forced to say goodbye forever, will his destiny catch up to him, or will they change history forever?
About Angie: Angie Stanton never planned on writing books; she wanted to be a Rockette. However, growing up in rural Wisconsin, with her brothers' 4-H pigs as pets, dance didn't work out. Instead she became an avid daydreamer. After years of perfecting stories in her head, she began to write them down, and the rest is history.

Angie is the author of six books including Royally Lost, Rock and a Hard Place, and Snapshot. She graduated with a Journalism degree from the University of Wisconsin, and is a proud double finalist of the National Readers Choice Awards for Love 'em or Leave 'em.
